Altograf specialises in the design and production of high-end printing, artist’s books, catalogues and art publications, with particular attention to the quality of materials, colour reproduction and the exploration of distinctive finishes.

 We work alongside artists, galleries, museums, foundations and cultural institutions to transform an artistic or editorial project into a physical object capable of fully interpreting and enhancing its content.

 

Each project is approached as something unique. From paper selection to the structure of the volume, from binding to printing and finishing techniques, we develop solutions in which material, colour, form and content interact with one another.

 We produce exhibition catalogues, artist’s books, monographs, special and numbered editions, portfolios, invitations, presentation folders, boxes and coordinated materials for exhibitions and events, working with specialty papers and a wide range of finishing techniques, including embossing and debossing, hot foil stamping, lamination, die-cutting and bespoke processes.

 

Alongside production, we provide graphic design and technical-creative development, identifying materials, techniques and construction solutions that reflect the identity of the artist, the artwork and the institution.

 

For us, printing is not simply the final stage of a project: it becomes part of its language.
